Our ranger guides are FGASA certified Field Guides. FGASA is an accredited training provider for tourism guiding in South Africa. They are trained to ensure complete safety during game drives. Their incredible knowledge about flora and faune and their experience with wildlife will enable you to learn incredible facts about the Park and its environment.
Only entities offering accommodation such as Addo African Home are allowed to offer game drives in open-top vehicles. By choosing Addo African Safaris you are making the choice of a secured and most enjoyable game drive, for that adventurer feeling!
Kids under 3 years old are not allowed in open-top vehicles for safety reasons. However, we offer you the opportunity to hire the services of one of our field guides to enjoy a game drive from the comfort of your own car. Contact us for more information and prices
Booking in advance is essential. For groups of more than 3 persons, full online payment is required. Payment is due one month before arrival. Cash, Visa and Mastercard accepted – Sorry no Diners Club or AMEX accepted. Please note that lunch braai is weather dependent.
