Opened in 2017, Molo Lolo Cooking School helps young people from the townships to get a better start in active life by offering them training and job opportunities in the catering and hospitality industry. These young South Africans are often out of the school system and live in difficult conditions.
We offer them free training for a period of 6 months after which they obtain a professional certificate. We also attach a great importance to personal development and ensure our students develop their potential.
We also developed partnerships with renowned cooking schools in France where students come for internships and share their vision of French cuisine.
The training program is based on practice, taught by French chefs who come to Addo African Home to donate their time and share they professional knowledge and experience.
Chefs Eric, Cyril, France, Antoine or David…they all contributed to change the life of Cindy, Searle, Sive, Sikho and many others.
Molo Lolo Cooking School is a beautiful story of sharing and common will to make things happen and moving towards a more responsible world.
